Bluewater Christmas Shopping Trip

Since Bluewater opened its doors in March 1999, it has set the benchmark for the ultimate shopping and leisure experience, with 300 stores and over 50 bars, restaurants and cafes. We’ll spend the whole day immersed in everything Bluewater has to offer, and when we’ve covered as many of its 300 shops that we can manage, we’ll head home!

Bury St. Edmunds Christmas Fayre

This award-winning Christmas Fayre at Bury St Edmunds has over 300 colourful stalls situated all around the historic Georgian town centre selling local produce and crafts, as well as from around the UK and mainland Europe. The Christmas Fayre has something for everyone including a parade and fireworks, cookery theatre and food area in the Cathedral grounds, entertainment, free children’s activities as well as a fun fair. An added attraction is the town’s nearby cosmopolitan shopping centre with its great mix of famous name stores and independent shops, cafés and restaurants.

Birmingham German Christmas Market

The largest authentic German Christmas market outside Germany or Austria, Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market offers an array of traditional goods and gifts - with everything from handcrafted wooden decorations and delicate glass baubles, hand-crafted leatherwork, toys, jewellery - and a selection of tempting food and drink, all whilst enjoying the live music programme on Victoria Square!

Winchester Christmas Market & Ice Rink

The Christmas market in Winchester, inspired by the traditional German Christmas markets and now rated as one of the best in Europe, is made up of over 100 charming wooden chalets offering an array of delightful treats, and set against the backdrop of the City’s beautiful Romanesque Gothic Cathedral which holds regular Advent carol services for all to enjoy. Bournemouth Christmas Tree Wonderland

Feel the wonder at Bournemouth’s unique festive trail, where we will experience the magical, mystical and memorable spectacle of over 100 glittering trees and illuminations. Rochester Dickensian Christmas Festival

Packed with shopping stalls, Rochester becomes a feast of Victorian delights. There are lamp-lit parades, carol singing, Father Christmas, even a guaranteed snowfall, framed by Rochester’s fairytale cathedral and castle. You’ll also see some familiar, fabled characters from Dickens’ much- loved stories. Highlights include the Seven Poor Travellers Procession, the Grand Parade at 12 noon, a candlelit procession, the open air carol concert, and street performers.

Oxford Christmas Market

Now in its sixth year, visitors will become enchanted by giant botanical-inspired illuminations as they follow the twinkling trail around the Garden, through the seasons with colour themes and well- known favourites to discover, such as daffodils in spring, gladioli in summer, leaves in autumn and hellebores in winter. Some of Wisley’s iconic trees will also be illuminated along the route to showcase their beauty and form in a new light. A must-see along the paved route is the magnificent Glasshouse that will radiate vibrant colours.
